    Friday March 20, 2026 visit. The dementia is … deeper? She whispers a lot. Her hand hurt. The nurse was checking it out. Jenny caring for Mom, her Mother-in-law, is one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Like childbirth in reverse.

    Mom’s going down again. She’s cuddly and fun, talks less and sleeps a lot. We think she fake sleeps when she doesn’t want to talk anymore. She forgets people and requires full time care.     She fell and broke her arm/wrist this month. She has moved into full time care including in home hospice. We’ve had a few doctor visits and have been discussing care in front of her. I asked her how she feels about us talking about her like she’s not here… I do not like it! Ya’ll…
